John Lennon (born John Winston Ono Lennon) was a British and American singer, composer, guitarist, pianist, poet, actor, public figure, artist and writer.

He was born at 9th October, 1940 in Liverpool, UK and was killed at 8th December, 1980, aged 40 in New York. He played guitar, keyboard, harmonica, and bass guitar. His genres were rock, rock-n-roll, merseybeat, psychedelic rock, hard rock, experimental rock. He was in groups Beatles, Plastic Ono Band, The Dirty Mac and The Quarrymen. Also, he got The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
